Reading together
Parents came into school to share books with their children.
Book speed dating
We brought our favourite books into school.
Everyone got the chance to 'date' a book for a short period of time.
We then had to say if we were in love, it was OK or if the book wasn't out type.
After we had dated 6 books we had to choose our favourite, explaining why we liked it.
It was great fun!
Sign up to a story
The children had to choose the story they would like to hear, without knowing which adult was reading it.
Bedtime story
The teachers invited the children to listen to some bedtime stories.
They came back to school dressed in their pyjamas with a teddy.
We had a magical evening.
