Autumn 1
Our topic this half term is 'Field to Fork'. In Geography, we will be learning about the weather and climate and how this affects food growth. Our main text in English is 'Avocado Asks' by Momoko Abe.

Goodwood Farm Trip
We had a fantastic visit to Goodwood Farm. We learnt about the different crops that grow on the farm. We explored the dairy farm, looking at how cows are milked and the variety of dairy products that are made on the farm. 
We created our own butter and tested it out on some crackers. It was yummy!
 
Working With Others Week
During the first week back we played lots of different team building activities. We discussed what makes a good team and how we can communicate well to achieve the end goal. 
Maths Investigation Day
During Maths Day we explored number bonds to 10. We had to create a large triangle from lots of different smaller triangles however, the edges had to total 10. We had to show lots of perseverance and determination to complete the puzzle.
